On a recrnt trip to Nashville I was reading articles in “The Nashville Scene” about the impending release of ICE agents into the public and was made aware that many immigrants who were allowed into the USA by former administrations’ policies are now living in fear of being deported though they haven’t been allowed the opportunity to apply for US citizenship.  My song “Texas Tequila” was embraced by the Nashville hispanic radio station’s director of marketing, Thomas Mcsweeney, who wrote “ I’m forwarding your song to our program director, Francisco Morales…appreciate your mission!”…I had to leave Nashville before finding out if my song made it into regular rotation on The Activa Network…but it looked promising…enjoy!

I put a good 6 months into writing this song…the story, in a nutshell, is about a NYC cop legasy who eventually confronts and destroys a Cartel gang…makes you want to dance, no?
